There are a lot of internet marketing strategies about how to make money online… but did you know you can actually make money on YouTube?

You watch videos on YouTube…but how can you make money from posting your own videos?

You do it by creating a campaign, and growing a following, by videotaping yourself over a period of time. You release the videos along the way, showing your progress and if the content is good you will be gaining followers.

One of the keys that Arnel demonstrated…and it is something I’ve talked about before with other internet marketing strategies and tools…is consistency. He was consistent with his workouts. He was consistent with uploading videos. You can’t just do one video and expect to get great results. Just like anything else, you keep working at it and the results grow.

What makes this easy to do, is choosing a topic that you enjoy! Imagine trying to consistently create and upload videos about a topic you hate or aren’t interested in…do you think the viewers just might pick up on that vibe? Of course they will! Arnel enjoys working out and likes sharing his workouts with others, and knowing that he is helping a lot of people. That’s a winning combination.

You can be an expert in the area…Arnel already was a physical trainer… but you don’t have to be.  If you are brand new to the area that can be very compelling. Think about The Biggest Loser show on television. People tune in to watch other people have success…to be inspired…people who were fat are now working out and getting trim because of the inspiration. Do you think that show would have the draw it does if it just featured the trainers? No. One of the things that makes that show a hit is the transformation process the participants go through. That is what gets the viewers excited…gives them hope!

I’m not telling you to start with exercise videos…that’s just one example…what I’m saying is that as long as you are passionate about it and consistent about it, you can use any subject to grow your standing in YouTube, whether you are an expert right at the start or not. Believe me, if you use the internet marketing strategies of being consistent and passionate about what you do, and apply that to YouTube, you will be an expert and be making money online.

Most teens are not only able to earn some money, but they are also eager to do it. Earning money can be rewarding not only in the economical sense, but also educationally and personally. It will teach a teen how to manage his time, to take responsibility, to negotiate, to deal with people and more, much more.
